Experiential learning often means getting dirty, but in this case you’ll get delighted, and colorful! Students will explore artistic expression using a hands-on abstract perspective.
This artful inquiry creates a space for students to see themselves as learners while reflecting on themes like autonomy, decision-making, self-directed learning and vulnerability. This playful process of enhancing wellness and creative growth can be applied to one’s personal and professional spheres, often producing _____ results.
Beginning each class with a short centering exercise, students will learn new techniques and unconventional tools to draw and paint as they experiment under the guidance of Catherine’s coaching and facilitation. Toward the end of each class, participants will write a short summary in their reflection journal to document their individual experience.
